This was a fun edition to the Miss Peregrine universe. Getting to read the stories that are mentioned throughout the books adds to my enjoyment of the series.
The artwork for each story was beautiful and really complemented the stories and the creepy vintage photo vibe Ransom Riggs have going on.
I think the story of the first Ymbryne is my favorite but I enjoyed all of them.

I had tried reading the first book of the miss peregrine's home for peculiar children series after watching the movie adaptation and having heard they swapped Olive & Emma's peculiarities but for some reason just couldn't. Found this to be a good read though as it's a glimpse into that same universe/world as it builds upon the original world building. Only story that I didn't really care for was the boy who bottled the sun. Think my favorite would be the girl who could tame nightmares.Â
