Continuing my TBR project:
This is one of the oldest selections on my TBR list - Originally added July 28, 2015.

Well, the language was beautiful.
The story, not so much.

loved the flow of the story - it felt like i was listening to an aunt tell me her life story.
although it felt a bit meandering and short

Solo puedo recomendarla.

Lyrical and compelling. Wished it was longer!

The writing is lovely and you could feel the passion seeping through. However, the choice to write the story as a collection of interconnected vignettes makes the narrative feel wishy washy and a little too simplistic.

Exhilarating - A joy to read what might have been a very dour sad affair.
