I love Bridget so much. Any book and any story makes me fall in love with the character all over again. Fantastic writing as always. Never get tired of reading about her and how her life is getting on! Great ending the Bridget’s story!

I’m probably going to hell for this, but I actually liked this one better than the others

I can not believe the New York Times recommended this dross. The original Bridget was fresh and funny. The second book was a cash in - but hey if I was Helen Fielding I'd do the same. But a 51 year old single mother Bridget had all sorts of wonderful possibilities... all of which were ignored. Read "The Cursing Mummy's Book of Days" instead. That's how it's done.

Disappointed in this book and found it a chore to read. It just seemed a bit unrealistic for a 51 year old woman to be so obsessed with Twitter and Texting.
Spoiler I also thought it was pretty rubbish to kill off Mark just so Bridget could be a cougar.
Shame really as the original was the first chick-lit book I read so this has kind of ruined the whole series for me.

I Love Bridget Jones, love her. so I was beyond excited when I heard there would be a third book, however before I got anywhere near the book a huge spoiler was dumped on me and it stopped me in my tracks. with out giving it away, in case there are people who don't know the plot by now, this spoiler left me unsure if I wanted to read it. however I finally gave in.

The good news is that time may have moved on but Bridget is the same as ever, just as lovable and silly, as well as being a bit of a disaster zone. However for me the book didn't really work, Bridget is middle-aged and dating, for me it didn't need to be written at all, what was so wrong with leaving off where 'the edge of reason' finished with Bridget happy and wondering off into the sunset with Mr. Darcy? Isn't that what Bridget fans wanted? I did. this book adds nothing except destroying the happy ever after we all thought she got. Now she is back to square one, single but not alone because she is a mother of two. Her old friends Tom and Jude return as well as some other familiar faces, to help her negotiate the mind field that is dating in 2013, including online dating and twitter. Its fun and if I hadn't loved the other books so much id probably think this was good too but Bridget without Mr. Darcy just doesn't work for me. (romantic sap that I am)

I have read and re-read the first two books and watched the two movies countless times and probably will again, i'll just leave this one on the shelf and pretend its not there.
