What a way to kick off a new series!!!!! Grayson and Jessica amazing second chance romance that starts out with a bang literally and includes one of my fave brothers, Jacob Arrowood. Jessica and Jacob are very good friends and it’s the cutest thing. Grayson and Jessica were childhood sweethearts but things went left and she left because she was afraid of losing him. Also he came from a very wealthy family and she was from the other sides of the track; his parents despised her but his siblings absolutely loved her and still do. When Jessica returns she and Grayson try to be civil. He’s now a single father of an amazing 4 year old little girl that says things that will have you laughing out loud. His daughter and Jessica clicked immediately. Grayson and Jessica were still skating around each other while his best friend, her best friend, his siblings and her sister were all rooting for them and actually had bets on when these two will finally reconcile lol. It was a slow burn but the love and chemistry between these two were off the charts. They had issues that needed to be clarified and when a traumatic incident occurred Grayson knew it was time to never let her go. It was a beautiful story. Lots of secrets

This one is sweet! It’s less ripping my heart out compared to most. Looks like this series is also a different couple for each book like the twisted series was. It has a little bit of spice but not a whole lot. I want to hear more about these 3 though!

Do you believe everything happens for a reason?

Jessica has been through some hell in her life and lost everything she thought she wanted, what she didn’t plan for was to get back the one Man she truly loved.

This book is a small town romance with we a single dad and a second chance of finding each other.

This books was a good read and I did really enjoy it, it was a good introduction to the series and we got to meet so many characters. Jessica has a lot to deal with and she pushes through it all and keeps going regardless what she’s hit with. Grayson really knows exactly who she is and what she wants and it’s lovely to see them re kindle their love.

Whist this was a really good book to read it is extremely trauma based focused and could be quite triggering for some readers. It does mention it in the start of the book, but I would recommend giving the trigger warnings a read before picking it up. But it was good to see mental health Issues and how she deals with trauma in the book as well.

I’m looking forward to Jack and Stella’s book, I saw that coming a mile off, I just hope they get a HEA.

This is the first book in a new series about 4 brothers and a sister. It’s loosely related to the Arrowood Brothers series.

Jessica was the flight attendant on Jacob Arrowood’s plane when it crashed. They survived, sand she ended up with a traumatic brain injury and emotional trauma. She returns home to Willow Creek Valley to heal. She doesn’t expect to run into the love of her life, Grayson, whom she’d left when she was a teen because his family drove her away. (Long story short. Grayson is now a single dad.

Jessica and Grayson still love each other, and rekindle their love. But Jessica’s plan was to leave Willow Creek Valley when she healed. Will history repeat itself?

My favorite part of the book is
Spoilerthat Grayson bought their favorite spot on the mountain and built a house there after she was gone.

I can’t wait for the next book.

“Loving her the way I do now isn’t young or naïve. It is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever felt, and the void will never be filled.”

meh, didn't really feel much for the couple honestly..

This was a pretty cute book! If you’re looking for a sweet second chance small town romance, this book is definitely for you!

I really enjoyed how this book started! The beginning had me hooked! I thought Jessica’s backstory was so unique and allowed her to have a lot of character growth and was a very good reason for her going back to her small town that she grew up in! She was a strong character and I liked seeing her heal after the trauma that she went through. As for Grayson, I really liked his character as well. I love how he was an amazing dad to Amelia and how he would do anything for her. I also liked how much he loved Jessica despite all the years and the pain she put him through in their youth. Amelia was so cute and she really brought light to this story! I also love how much Jessica loved her and how they got so well together!

I don’t normally love second chance romances but I really enjoyed this one! I liked how Grayson and Jessica were still civil when meeting, which allowed a friendship despite their past. I didn’t love the third act breakup, but I liked the way they got back together as it gave a bit of excitement to the story! There were a few slower parts to the book and some parts felt a little choppy, and there were a few little twists I didn’t  love, but overall, it kept my interest and I really enjoyed this read! If you’re looking for a short and sweet second chance romance, this book is definitely for you!
