I tried to read this book after reading Song Of Achilles. I was not ready, I was still mourning the last book and the pace at first was too slow. So it sat unread for a few months before I finally came back. And I fell in love quickly. It was such a beautiful cheesy and nostalgic read In the way that makes you want to experience your first love again. It had me tearing up and rooting for the characters happy ending in such a sad set of circumstances. And I think the grief handled in this book was handled well.

A beautiful heartwarming story so elegantly written. These characters will live in my heart rent free, and Ashley Poston has done a fantastic job with the grief the FMC is going through.
The little twist that was thrown in there was beautiful and unexpected.
Ashley Poston has now become a must buy author for me.

The audiobook has a good narrator, but she pretty much ruined the book with her severe mispronunciation of the MMC name. I can’t believe they released the book like this.

a very fun and romantic read! i had an equal mix of rolling my eyes and squealing with delight at this - not the strongest ending in my opinion but some really swoonworthy writing that moved me. bonus points as always for any book i read that features a realistic reflection on grief

Let me begin by saying that I absolutely loved this book. It got me all emotional and in my feels.
The only reason I’m not rating it higher is because it was a little predictable. I figured out who the love interest was in the first few chapters.
That said, the book was sublimely enjoyable. I loved the time traveling elements, I think they were written beautifully. The writing was excellent.
Would definitely recommend.

I don’t even know what to say right now—I think I bawled through the last 10 chapters. This book was so beautiful. It was a love story, not only between Clementine and Iwan across time, but between Clementine and her aunt. Although the book started a little slow for me, it ended up being a 5-star read because the writing, the characters, the tale, were all so engaging. And even though I caught on to context cues and was able to predict some of the storyline and character relations, it didn’t ruin the story for me. I know I will be thinking about this book for days and even weeks later. Loved it! P.S. There is some heavy mental health content (and that part was actually very healing for me), so read with care.
