This was such a great sequel. You can really see that the authors writing has had a chance to develop. The world building and magic systems were so well done. We learned so much more about the several different types of magic that the kingdoms offer and what they all are capable of. I also really like the developing love story.

I cried. No surprise there.

This duology was just amazing and I loved the way all of the characters and storylines developed as the series went on. The writing was amazing and the pacing was good, keeping me engaged the entire time. A new favourite duology and I am already looking forward to an inevitable reread.
