Wow. Just, wow. God damn this is fantastic. I remember a few weeks ago reading the first volume & though enjoying it feeling underwhelmed. It really has grown from strength to strength. It is so unpredictable. This happened so fast it’s like a gut punch. I’m bent over in pain from what just happened but I guess I’m a masochist because damn I want more. Onto v.10 I guess.

*More of a 3.5*

I've been putting off continuing after everything that happened in volume 8. Was not prepared for one of the characters I really liked to actually be dead and for another to be harmed and possibly die as well. But I have the rest physically now so I'm finally facing it.

I don't know if the reveal that happened in this volume was a "big reveal", but it felt like one. It wasn't super surprising though it was just like oh okay makes sense. In this volume we also get a little Angel Devil backstory and the whole thing with Denji taking care of Power was pretty sweet. Poor Aki and his feral children. What a strange little family. Makes me kind of sad.
