Not a bad look into the life of Major Winters. The best parts were seeing some of the more blunt comments Winter's made through interviewing and getting to hear his real opinions. The author's writing style wasn't really enjoyable as he seemed to skim over large chunks of time with sometimes just a few words. Overall an okay book, but definitely not as good as Winter's autobiography written with Cole Kingseed.

Great read. I read Band of Brothers by Ambrose years ago, but this really delved into the man who shaped their success. I have such a deep respect for his leadership style.
