First thing is first, Ben (the MMC) is a catch from the get go. Throughout the book you are left on the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen next. Even at the very end you are left bewildered. The FMC, Chelsea, brings an ache to your heart as she struggles to cope with the aftermath of a terrible accident that leaves her with no memories of the last 7 years. Ben and Chelsea find their way back but have a lot to work through. This book has a lot of smut involved. The plot could definitely be more advanced. Almost every scene between Chelsea and Ben were smut, but they kept discussing that they needed to work on things, but in the readers view they weren’t working on anything. I would’ve liked to see more of that aspect of their relationship, the reality that comes with a relationship. The readers are also introduced to characters that are friends of the couple, that some get explained and others are just plopped in and you don’t necessarily know who they are talking about. Scenes are cut short and all of a sudden you’re moving on. I do love the way Reel inserted flashbacks and memories. I am usually not a third person POV gal, but this one got me hooked. I can’t wait to read the second one when it comes out. I received a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
