This genuinely may be the worst book I’ve ever read. The writing, ending, character development, and story are just bad. It was the kind of bad that may be cringe and sigh with disappointment more than once. I unfortunately cannot recommend this book to anyone I want a cordial relationship with.

Okay so I knew who the killer was because of a Facebook post and I really was looking for hints of that character being the killer but there weren’t any just so many plot holes I also wish there were more court scenes all that being said the basis of the book was very interesting

Some things just didn’t make sense in a logistical way, but overall a thrilling read that kept me wanting to keep going. Also not sure why some parts of the story were included and then just never brought up again. Not sure if one of the characters is raped at one point or if it’s a dream? Just a weird plot point to include but never explain.

Well I didn’t expect that ending! Everything unfolds nicely right at the end and I didn’t predict any of it. To be honest, I didn’t like either of the main characters but the storyline flowed nicely and everything eventually pieces together. Note: I listened to the audiobook & the voice actors did well.

As I read the book, my hopes that there will be a satisfactory ending was rising as well. But the ending of the story really disappointed me.

The fact that the book was written in the first person's perspective is one of the main issues I have with the story.  Although the killer reveals the whole story in the end, it contradicts the character's thoughts and actions when alone throughout the story. The motive also does not seem to justify the crime.

Overall, the book had potential but the ending just killed the entire story for me.
