Charlie Ellison one day wakes up and finds out everyone is trying to kill her and her bounty is a million dollars on Reapr. In a world where apps do everything from helping you find jobs to helping you fund someones assassination you never know what's going to happen. Charlie hires the only person on Dfend willing to try and protect her while she tries to find out who funded her death in the first place.
I really liked this graphic novel. The concept slightly felt like a black mirror episode but I think that's why I enjoyed it. Most people complain they hate Charlie but she felt like a real person and I love characters who feel like you could meet them in real life. I'm extremely curious to see what landed Charlie on Reapr in the first place.

I personally think it has something to do with the Echo Park Massacre we briefly saw on the television in Vita's housejessseadoesstuff's review against another edition

I was surprised by how much I liked this after seeing the other reviews. I think a lot of my enjoyment came from the details presented and checking out the background art that build up this world and future. I'm not overly invested in the characters but this was fun and imaginative and I can't wait to read more.
