This was a sweet cozy read with a found family (in this case they found each other on a commuter train). It’s got a quirky cast of characters who will charm you and put a smile on your face.

There can be little else for me to add to the reviews here, this is a warm, feel-good novel with some clear and pertinent messages. The sharply observed and well-developed cast of characters meet on their various train journeys while navigating their various life challenges. Clare Pooley puts a range of various talking points out there for reading groups to debate -gender, sexuality, ageism, coercive control, family relationships, and many more. It’s an enjoyable and redemptive read.

3.5 stars really. Cute story and easy read but nothing particularly gripping.
