What a special story and what beautiful art to match. I was expecting a nice, comforting story, but not the various twist and turns!! Every character is so rich and I loved every one of them so deeply. I'm so happy to have this story in my life.

A capa deste livro chamou a minha atenção então decidi comprar. Não leio muitas graphic novels, mas quando pego numa adoro poder ler e ver os desenhos e cores escolhidas para ilustrar a história. 
Neste livro adorei a paleta de cores, da mudança para o preto como background no momento do encontro entre duas personagens.  A forma como o desenho acompanha o consumo de drogas quando Julien está em Las Vegas. 
A história em si eu gostei, embora o plot twist seja bastante óbvio desde cedo. A travessia que esta história faz pelo século XX e a forma como este se mistura perfeitamente na vida de Julien torna a narrativa mais viva, ao ponto de me ter interrogado se ela seria verídica em algum aspeto (não é). Está escrita quase como um filme, e acho que daria uma excelente adaptação.
A melhor parte: é possível ouvir Filipe Melo a tocar a Balada para Sophie e é linda.

Some of the most stunning illustrations I’ve seen in a graphic novel. This is also a beautifully redemptive story centered around music. Warning for some adult content though (sex and drug use).
