“The Magnolia Inn” was a good book, and I loved that it was in the perspective of 2 different characters. Maggie was my favorite in this book.

However, there are a couple things I do take issue with in this book that made it lose a star:

1. There’s a lot of repetition with certain words such as “studied” and “furrowed” and I wish there was more variety of words that were used instead of using the same words all the time.

2. (Spoiler alert, skip if you want to read the book)
the book ends on a cliffhanger and I wish it had a different ending instead of making the reader/listener wait until the next book when and if they have access to it.

Those are the only issues I have with the book but other than that, I’m excited to read the rest of the books in the series as they come out and as my local library gets them :)
