I think I liked this more than the first book! Always enjoyable to see representation of sapphic love, non-binary/trans characters & badass femmes. The plot was a bit unpredictable which I found great in such a short graphic novel! Definitely looking forward to future editions/volumes.

I mean, still a confusing ending, but at least the drawings were cute.

Closer to a 3.5. I read this for a club, and I never read the entirety of the first volume but I felt like V.1 might be more charming. Still fun, though!

Same thoughts as the first book, sadly. Love the characters, not interested in the plot at all. This one actually felt cheesier than the last volume? I love the focus on the music scene of the late 90's/early 00's and that it explores more than just mainstream music, and I love the queerness and the girl power vibes, but the whole "secret society" thing and the "music producer trying to take over the music industry" plot just feels cartoonish to me. There were also some pacing issues for me in this volume, since we skipped forward in large chunks several times. If this story had been provided with more space to develop I think it could have been really cool, but as it stands, I'm not vibing with it.

It was just okay. Graphics were still great though.
