I always enjoy a fantastical story about Sherlock Holmes. There's just something about him chilling within the world of the Elder Gods that intrigues me.

Think this might be a case of it's not the book, it's me.
I read the first book and enjoyed it, so decided to get this in audiobook.
The narrator was fine and did a good job, I just found the story to be plodding and although things are happening, it felt like they weren't.
I kept looking at how much time on the book was left. Never a good sign.
I think for me, there's too much tying timelines and events to the original Holmes stories and it trips up the flow of the Holmes /Cthulhu world.
Frankly, I've chosen to read a Holmes/Cthulhu mash up so let's get on with the mash up and enjoy it please.
I'll probably read the author's traditional Holmes stories but at the moment I'm done with this line.
