First 1/3 of the book - meh
Middle 1/3 - this could be interesting
Last 1/3 - so many eye rolls
The best part of the book was when it finally ended.

Ugh. This is not the Peter Swanson I love. Predictable and rehashed. I didn’t like this story about a girl who falls in love quickly, to the point of marrying (just to be married) and ends up being a target of an insane “boys only type club.” I will still read his books, tho.

deserves less than 1 star; i disliked every second of this audiobook but still made myself finish it at 2.5x speed to get it over with as fast as possible. very predictable, with way too much gaslighting of women for my taste (if thats your taste, please consider therapy)

So three quarters of the way thru...the ending was not at all what I was expecting!!! I thought this book was going to be your typical husband/wife psychological thriller, but it was WAY more!!! An interesting twist in the end that I wasn’t expecting!
