I’m not very used to slower-paced books. I plan on listening to this as an audiobook. What I read was awesome! I just realized that I kept putting it down for longer and longer lengths of time.

I just wasn’t excited to continue this book. I will give it another chance though.

In a fit of whimsy, I hereby announce I will give everyone five stars, but the reviews may not reflect it.
This was an interesting Star Wars adventure. The Jedi/samurai thing was on display from episode IV, so it's no surprise to see a book to that effect come out. As a ronin is basically a free-agent samurai, hence we have an unattached - we can't call him a Sith - wielder of the dark side of the force who travels the outer rim helping people a la Kaine of Kung Fu. What's more interesting is there's a bunch of unattached "Sith" floating around and our hero gets involved in battling them. This is about as far from being in the Star Wars universe as you can get without being in the Star Wars universe. If you read the reviews you'll see it's been quite divisive, but I liked it, and it is very different to other canon material. Worth a look, but don't hate me if you hate it. Or do. Whatevs!

This was an enjoyable read, and though I don't think it stuck the landing, I'm glad I read it and would read it again, even if I didn't think the ending was as good as it could have been. The characters were all very entertaining and I think it effectively expanded upon the short it was based on.

I had this out from the DC library for way too long. I hope to take the book out again to try finishing some day, I just started getting obsessed with audio books lol
