The finality to this duet is bitter sweet. I enjoyed all of it every step of the way. I was on the edge of my seat with suspense and adventure but the love that was tangled in the story was on a whole other level. The arguments and and emotions felt so real and I truly enjoyed Cal and Bella’s HEA. It was well deserved and wholly fought for.

What a good conclusion to His Hollow Heart. The first book left off with SO MUCH promise and growth in the 2nd book and Rachel did not disappoint. Bella did drop some of her naivety (after awhile) it took some things to happen for her to realize she can't run off halfcocked any more which was fun to watch her grow. Byron, what a piece of garbage, honestly, I am glad he got what was coming but I really would have loved to seem him suffer more. Even though Cal and Bella's beginning was painful, raw and messy, and this conclusion was all of that and then took a turn for peace, love and beauty. I also want to mention Cherry and Anders, I loved their side characters and I hope that we eventually, maybe, possibly, please, please, please, get to see them sometime in the future.

This duet was it was raw and dark. It was amazing and had me wanting a love like theirs.

It was the perfect conclusion to this couples story and I’m glad i got to be along for the ride.

And the FUCKING covers dammit @rachelleighauthor you seriously have the prettiest covers with all these florals right now.

I LOVED book 1 so much so, it became a top 2021 read but I struggled more with book 2. I’m not entirely sure why because the story was solid and a happy ever after. It was picked up right where book 1 ends and the drama and plot is THERE and it’s great. I just felt a tad bored with this one. Like it went on too long, but I also wonder if it’s a me thing, and perhaps I just wasn’t in the mood for a book like this? I mean, Rachel’s an awesome author and it’s not as though this was a bad book. I just enjoyed book 1 more.

Came out of nowhere!

This book came out of nowhere and hit me like a freight train. It was so good and so spicy with such classy dark romance points that I absolutely fell in love. I don’t think I can give a better review other than to say if you like alpha males and female characters that don’t take anything from anyone then you’ll love this book. I can truly say that nothing was taken sitting down and everything was taken with fire to fight back and the happily ever after made my heart sing. Go read this now!

Intense, steamy and suspenseful. The second half of this duet picks up right where the last book left off and keeps on running with page turning action right on through to the end.

Callum and Bella haven't had it easy throughout their entire lives. Growing up in foster care and separated once before when they were young they have now just found each other again. However, as they were just as they were falling in love they were ripped apart and lost to one another once more. But this time around, Bella won't give up so easily, refusing to believe the lies that Callum could be dead. She fights her way back to finding the truth, but her life may be the next one on the line and could Callum find her time this time to save her?

Callum and Bella don't have it easy, that is for sure, as their love story is fraught with danger, uncovered secrets, and lots of steamy passion.

This is the second half of a book duet and best read in order to achieve the most enjoyment.
