I definitely recommend reading this book if you really are debating moving on to the next book in the series due to how horrible the Heirs treated the Vega's. This gives the point of view of all 4 of boys and the reasons why they treated Darcy and Tory the way that they did. I listened to it on audible and put it on 1.5 speed since it is the same as the 1st book. It is just in different point of views during the same timeframe.

Goodness, this book just made me hate the boys all over again for what they did to Tory and Darcy. I can see why they felt the need to do what they did but they definitely could have come up with a better way to handle the situation. I am glad that they all seemed to suffer a bit because of their choices especially Darius, but man that boy is something else. I really enjoyed this book and getting to see the beginning told from their perspectives. Definitely recommend reading!
