I like the artwork. It was a bit male-gazey but not so much that it disturb the story. And I got sucked in.
I actually read some of Patricia Briggs books before but I can't remember anything about them. So I'm working my way through the Mercy Thompson World - Complete Series. I'm in he mood for a romance series without the tropes I despise. This series comes highly recommended.

Fun comic.
I really enjoyed this, the artwork was great. I would have liked more though. Like way more. ;-) the storyline was interesting and fit nicely with the series, there just wasn't enough to it.

3 stars. It was just okay. This is a prequel graphic novel to the Mercy Thompson series and I was really looking forward to reading it. The plot wasn't that interesting but it had its moments but the artwork wasn't great to me. It was way too inconsistent and unpleasant to look at. Mercy's art changed about three or four times throughout and it was very jarring. I don't know I'd say that if you're a big fan of the series to read it but don't go in with high expectations because you'll probably be very disappointed.
