This was such a good and satisfying end to the series. Maya deserves all the happiness and it was such a pleasure watching her take control of her life. Absolutely love these men! I would like to order an Elias immediately please! Not going to lie this one was a bit slow for me in it's start but was definitely worth it. Maya went through it in this book! But it was so pleasing to watch her come out the other week end stronger for herself and her bonds.

This is the conclusion to Maya’s story, and I enjoyed it!
We start right where we left off, and I like where the story went, especially Noah’s storyline! Also, Maya’s character growth is enormous. This duet is just a good time all around!

This duet ended perfectly!! I loved the twists and turns, and I’m so happy how things turned out for Maya and her guys. Maya once again showed her strength and courage, going against her enemy to protect her guys and herself. This story shows that no matter what, to accept yourself and your quirks and other abilities and to show yourself grace and love. No one is perfect and everyone is different and this duet shows that it’s okay!

“I was taught that the gods will occasionally bless someone. That person has a great purpose, but one that is so difficult they can’t succeed without the support of others. The gods create the people who will support the blessed, and they are destined to be bonded. These people will help the blessed one with their task.”

Erin O’kane does it again! I first fell in love with Erin’s work when I read The War and Deceit series and this duet did not disappoint. You get everything from Gorgons to dragons to sirens. What more could you ask for? Maya has been cursed and is now at the hands of a king who would use her for awful things. She can’t see past the man she used to know and the one who sits on the throne. But 4 men will turn Maya’s views and world upside down.

In this duet, there is high emotion, lots of action, and some mystery. Maya has been betrayed once already, which is why she is cursed to be a Gorgon. The man she thought she loved used her and now Maya has trust issues (understandably). There is a way to break the curse but Maya can’t trust anyone enough to love, to break the curse. The duet follows Maya and her 4 men. To save the kingdom from the king's experiments and tyranny they must all work together and trust each other but trust doesn’t come easily to Maya and her men will have to work for it.

Amazing end to the duet

I need to start by saying I loved Maya. She is so fierce and strong and so trapped by the issues she perceives for herself. Her men are just so amazing and they really help her love herself and never view her as the monster she thinks she is.

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish. So good!
