This book was really honest and beautiful. Jay and Katherine's story of faithfulness to God in spite of some incredibly difficult circumstances was very moving and humbling. It was easy to read and I enjoyed it a lot. It's a good nonfiction Christian read that will inspire, but it is not so heavy that it is difficult to get through.

This is a pretty inspirational story, though the storytelling was a bit lackluster to me. Probably a ghost writer. The sacrificial way her husband cared for her wasn't treated like a big deal and that was really beautiful.

I loved this book. Jay and Katherine are refreshingly honest in their description of all that they’ve gone through since having their worlds turned upside down with an unexpected brain injury ten years ago. I finished this book feeling super encouraged and comforted by the way that they refuse to gloss over the pain and suffering that they’ve been through, while also refusing to forget the God who brought them through it all. Praise God for the healing and restoration He has brought to every part of their lives!!

I've heard about Katherine and Jay's story for years, and was really looking forward to hearing the full story. Just...wow. The book is easy to read, articulate, inspiring and I can't even remember the last time I cried during a book. I also can't remember the last time tore through a book in under 24 hours. I usually find Christian books (well, besides CS Lewis obvi) to be trite and unnecessarily long. I usually close one up and say, "that should have been an article...not a book." Not this time. I was so bummed it was over and started devouring their website because I needed MORE. The good news is, I hear they are already working on another book. Phew.
This book is great for men and women (they take turns telling the story from each of their perspectives), married people, people who want to be married people, suffering people (spoiler alert. everyone is suffering people), people who are near suffering people, people who wonder where the heck God got off too...everyone.

Everyone needs to read this book. What a shining example to this world of how to face tragedy and overwhelming circumstances with grace, and how to suffer WELL for His glory and by His power. We all have much to learn from the Wolfs. Grateful for their obedience to share their story.

This book will be in my top five this year. I could not put it down and I didn't want it to end. Katherine and Jay have such a unique voice and their honesty is so raw and tangible. This book was such a life changing blessing to me. Thank you!

Incredibly transparent from beginning to end. Much more depth than might be expected. Read it slowly and savor its impact on you, the reader.
