A perfectly fun, feminist read! Katja Klengel uses moments from her life growing up to look at how her gender plays into how she developed and explains how it controls the worlds around us. She looks at how societies rules of gender shape the way we see our bodies, how we interact with me, and even how we feel about ourselves. She invites the reader to dissect small moments we go through and deconstruct how  the way we were gendered into navigating different social situations. Its really nice to have such a simple book to explain why feminism is needed and how it can help people of all gender expressions feel more liberated in their lives. I would give this book to young people under 18, but because of certain sexual themes, I'd say it was more appropriate for Adults and teenagers ages 14 and over, although there is nothing too graphic or inappropriate about the book if a younger person got a hold of it.
