Wow! What a beautiful collection of powerful short poems. The satire in poem ‘Acknowledgement of Cuntery’ was so engaging, mixed with the raw pain in many others. What a wonderful insight into First Nations perspective as she debunks childhood “Australian” stories, and depicts the racist undertones and themes. A fantastic debut and a must read! I listened to this as an Audiobook narrated by the author Evelyn Araluen, which was an amazing experience to listen to the passion in her writing.
