The extremely likable Becky Bloomwood turns into an irritable 15 year old. Trust me, I know how an irritable 15 year old acts. Maybe 13.
I would actually rate the book a 3.5/5 stars but since I'm so in love with wedding planning I gave it a 4.
The story went by extremely slow and made me want to choke myself. The ending was predictable. Good book but I'd say nothing beats the first book where all the love and curiosity of "does he like me? Do I like him? Lust perhaps?" occurs.
Maybe I'm just cranky because I just wanna get on to the next book.
Also, ending = I wouldn't have done that.

Reading this took far longer for me than it should have. It was really hard for me to feel sympathy for Becky in this particular novel. In this third episode of the series, she was acting very narcissistic and immature. "Oh, Becky, look how cute you are!" was no longer the sentiment. It was more like "Becky, you selfish cow, open your mouth and stand up for yourself and your family". Furthermore, Luke's lack of participation in the planning process and his moral judgment in this novel were somewhat out of character, which irritated me. I will finish the series, but thus far, it has not held up well.

The first one of this series is my favorite but this is a close second. They are all pretty similar but there's something extra humorous about multiple weddings and family drama in this Bloomwood's world.

It may have taken me over two years to finally finish this book, (with my own wedding happening inbetween!!) but it was definitely worth it. Sophie Kinsella never disappoints.

Reading "Shopaholic Ties the Knot," I couldn't help but see myself in Becky, especially when she pretends not to want to get married because she thinks Luke isn't planning on proposing anytime soon. I would have done the same, without a doubt.

I'm so happy for Suze and Tarquin—they make such a sweet couple. And I’m glad that Becky and Suze are always there to support each other no matter what.

Becky and Luke’s relationship faces a significant crisis in this chapter, yet I still find them to be an adorable (if not perfect) couple. They may seem very different on the surface, but in reality, they’re both struggling with addictions: Becky is a shopaholic, while Luke is a workaholic.

Danny is incredibly sweet, and I always find myself smiling whenever he appears. He may not be the most responsible friend, but he’s always there to help Becky out of any situation.

The email exchanges with the bank employee are some of the best parts of the book. It’s delightful to see how Becky gradually gets to know him, and in the end, they reveal his true identity to her.

I absolutely adore Laurel, Becky’s client at Barneys. Her strong character and sharp wit are so refreshing, and the way she saves Becky’s situation at the end is nothing short of brilliant.

Becky’s boss at Barneys, Christina, is also wonderful—kind and supportive, offering Becky genuinely helpful advice.

The way the wedding story concludes is actually the best possible outcome. I’m so happy for Becky and Luke.

Overall, I loved this book and couldn’t put it down. It’s a fast-paced, enjoyable read that had me hooked from start to finish.

Becky is as quirky as ever but some of it was way overblown. A good quick read.

This was an amazing read. This is my eighth Sophie Kinsella story, and third book of the Shopaholic series. I loved every minute of it. The humor in her stories makes the book more enjoyable. I loved Becky. She is a silly, yet lovable main female character. Luke is an amazing male character. He may be an entrepreneur, but I love how he is able to love Becky even though she has her flaws and quirks.

Like the first two books, Becky receives a statement that is huge. Although she has money problems, she finds a way to solve the issue and she, in turn, becomes a much better human being. This series just keeps getting better and better. I love how we got to see more of Becky's character developed in this book. She truly is changing and I think it is for the better. Also, I am happy Luke and Becky got their happily ever after. Now, it is time to see how life will treat them. Overall, an incredible read.

It’s been a while since I read the first 2 books from the series. And I needed some time to warm up to Luke, he seemed a little indifferent at first. And Becky saw the catastrophes coming, so why didn’t she do anything to prevent them? But still, she is such a likeable figure, that you just hope with her, that everything turns out for the better. And you can’t stop laughing at her mishaps, the book ist over far too soon.
