did not go the way i expected it to. it was an emotional rollercoaster. everyone in the reviews was raving about eleanor's character, i suppose because she's meant to be the relatable one but honestly she just bored me. cleo was also a bit too manic pixie dream girl fantasy at the start but i liked how by the end you can really see how young she was when she met frank and that you actually can't blame her for anything. frank on the other hand, is barred from my mind forever. who's frank? not sure. anyway, definitely recommend it if you like books with lots of poetic undertones but no plot. also what a great title eh?
