I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. A cute addition to the Beauty and the Beast story. Juvenile at times, but overall a fun read with good writing.

I loved this story! It fit so well into what the movie already gives you and it would definitely make for a wonderful sequel to the love action beauty and the beast movie! The concept and story were wonderful and I can't wait to read it to my daughter one day.
My only issue with the book was how many errors there are, feels like maybe it was rushed through the editing process to make it on shelfs in time for the movie.

Captivating story. I fell in love with the story line and the characters especially Chip!! Although the writing may seem simple "because it's meant for children" I won't let my younger siblings read this. There was some scary elements that even as a 24 years old scared the hell out of me like for example when Nevermore reveled it's true self and Henri ! However, overall loved loved this book.

I really liked this take on an adventure Belle could've gone on during her stay at the Beast's castle. It was interesting and I flew through it. However, I did find that I had to not think to much about the movie and certain things that happen before and after that make this not quite fit in. But it was still a great read!

I had bought this book years ago amidst the popularity of the new movie coming out. I finally had a chance to read it, but it didn't seem to hold up to what past me thought.

It's a very simplistic book, and the plot is a bit obvious from the outset. I did like the references to the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone, but I don't know if having Love and Death as main characters really brought anything to the novel.

I do like the addition of the stories about Villeneuve and Agathe, as well as more dialogue between the castle crew and Adam (the Beast) with Belle. It feels like their relationships become more fleshed out.

It wasn't quite as good as I wanted it to be, I didn't particularly like when she was actually in the book; I think I just need to read a beauty and the beast book adaptation. Surprisingly I liked the ending, and I also like how it didn't just do all the same scenes from the movie and added new ones.

Would say was a teen book, but was a very quick, easy read with a nice twist on the original story. Enjoyed this.

This is a sweet and interesting story that allows the reader a deeper look into Belle's mind during her time in the Beasts Castle. Beauty and the beast was a favorite film of mine growing up so it was a treat to get to explore the story from a new angle. I thought that the premise of this story was very fun but I wouldn't say that it fits seamlessly into the original story. Even so I enjoyed reading it.
