One of the best books I've read all year. It had everything in it: a love story, action, politics to name just a few elements.

Ten years later, I’ve reread this series! I can’t believe it’s been ten years. Anyway, this has aged like a fine wine, and I’m sure I’ll still think so in ten more years. This world is meticulous, exhaustively fantastic and entertaining. I’m looking forward to rejoining Han and Raisa’s descendants in the next series!

This series was fantastic and quite addictive; I went through them pretty quick despite their length. (They almost weren't long enough...!) It was a crazy-good fantasy that definitely deserves a reread in the future.

Now allow me to float about for days as I often do after a fantastic read, not wanting to read anything else.

3.5? I guess

Shame this series just really didn’t do it for me despite being so hyped up

Btw Micah was just a bootleg Draco Malfoy this whole series

Adult hannah liked book 4 a lot more than teenaged hannah did. I am so sad that I’m finished

I LOVED this book! I loved this entire series! 10/10 recommend if you like magic and love and deception and great characters and war and like anything else you’d find in a great fantasy series. I’m so sad it’s over and can’t wait to read them again one day.

I'll be honest, the middle of the book was a bit of a slog to get through, I don't think it needed to be as long. Still, this was a satisfying conclusion to the series even if the book gave me constant anxiety when I read it.
