Intelligent and witty. This book made me actually laugh out loud. The references and the tongue in cheek tone just were so up my alley and refreshing. This was a fabulous read for a 20 something, it's engaging, charged and brutally honest.

In your 20s building a career is a big thing, but how do you know you're doing it right? It's an uphill struggle, a juggle between playing it safe and trying something new. Should we be risk aversive and trade our happiness for job security or should we take a leap? This book perfectly encapsulates all these questions and I read it at the perfect time.

I loved Imogen's perspective, Harri's less so, but they were equally important. Delving into the fears and feelings of the old and the new staffers, it's an insight into the ways and struggles of both the management and the intern, dealt with both humour and charm. It's an expose on what it means to be a woman in the workplace, the expectations and pressures at every level.

The one issue I did have and why I couldn't give this 5 stars is Imogen's overnight success. How plausible is that to go from zero to hero? It's nice to have a feel good, celebrating and rewarding success ending, but I think the trudging along without reward aspect was much more relatable and realistic.

I can't wait to read more of this author's work.
