This book is so bittersweet. Percy and Annabeth are struggling with their hardest challenge yet. The Argo II is constantly being ravaged.

This book is such a book of growth for our characters. So many of the seven in this book finally flesh out into the roles they will play in the final fight. This book is so integral to set up the last book of the series. I remember waiting for this book to release. Now rereading it, it definitely holds up. Right now it’s my favorite so far, and definitely the one that has stuck with me the most.

Four books down, and one more to go.

i like how everyone’s individually getting more confident and going through their own heroes journey for all of these books. i’m so proud of them they’ve gone through hell. i also love our new additions. i felt a lot of emotions while reading this book. probably the most out of all of them
