I appreciate that someone took the time to write this story but I found that it fell flat. Although well structured, there was nothing new here. The MF character was somewhat interesting but the MC fell flat without much character arc. There was little hockey.

I really liked Kay and Blaze. Their characters were interesting and good together. The book was just too wordy for me. I skimmed so much. I needed more dialogue and less telling.

When Blaze meets the mysterious girl at one of his halloween parties, he is obsessed. She disappears that night and he cant stop thinking of her.. then he needs a tutor which so happens to be the girl he admirers but doesnt know since she was never without a mask that night.. they build this unbreakable bond and help each other grow.. great read.
