I finally sat down and read for the first time in, I'm not sure, three or four weeks? Maybe longer? And this hurt my feelings in a lovely way -- particularly "Franky's Apology" -- and I really enjoyed about every third, maybe even every other piece in here, especially each iteration of "The Story of How You & Your Brother Grew Up." I don't actually have any familiarity with the Springsteen album that inspired this (I love him as an Entity, but have just never been into his music particularly.) but I don't think I needed it since this felt so complete and narrative on its own. More poetry I liked! 2020 surprises me again.
