really funny and gripping, never read anything like this before.
I'm generally not too fond of bdsm stuff but this was very mild and not even remotely squicky. :)

I liked this book okay but sometimes the houseboy Gilli made me want to smack him harder than his Daddies. It read sometimes like reading a spoiled teenagers diary and it was almost hard to get through.

Will probaly pass on the sequel unless someone can convince me it's better than the first one.

After seeing a friend recommend this multiple times, I decided I needed to at least read the sample. The sample sucked me in SO MUCH. I *needed* to know what happened next. I dropped everything to find out.

This is written in diary/memoir form with a charming, prattling style and cheerful acknowledgment of his own shortcomings. Initially, I thought Dick and particularly Shane were too hard on him, but the more I read of his hilarious fits of temper (chicken chucking particularly made me giggle), the more I realized that they put up with a LOT, and he actually benefits from the discipline that he gets. My heart still went out to him many times - especially when he felt vulnerable and on the outside of things - but the love the other two have and show for him still comes through clearly. I'm excited that there are more to come. I would LOVE to know how they all came together in the beginning - so far, we've just gotten hints of it.

3 stars - DNF at 30%

After STRUGGLING to read this, I decided to DNF it - it's an interesting story, but I don't like the way it's written and there could be more explicit scenes of this kind of relationship.

Did I enjoy this? Yes, I think I did.

It was different. I've read erotica and M/M romance with similar dynamics but the style of this was interesting. I don't think the "memoir' style worked for it at all. Even the order of things got confusing at times.

The houseboy is so bratty here. At times it was funny. Other times it was like okay you really gotta chill. He doesn't change at all from the beginning of the book to the end. Just does more unnecessary off the cuff things honestly. Which is fine I guess. It is a "memoir".

Got about a third if the way in. Gave up because of lack of character growth. Funny as promised, but Dick and Shane's inability to realize that their houseboy's repeated failures reflected their f ailng and reacting the same way repeatedly no matte rhow often it did work had me 'noping' out.
