I dropped completely off this for a long time after starting reading it for work - it really got to me I guess. It's hard not to feel like we keep going around in circles when such phenomenal work like this was published over 20 years ago and we're still facing such intense problems in Australia with healing the wounds of colonial trauma. The work needs to keep getting done though, and it's important to always look to those that did it before us and really listen to their words.
