I was listening to this amid social distancing and work from home mode. And let me tell you, this book is perfect for the occasion. It is a sweet cute story about 2 people who have prejudice on the first glance.

They embark in a road trip from hell and finding out each other. Fall in love. Their romance progresses into getting to know each other during their isolation. It helps me entertain during all worse news around the world.

When you stuck at home, take time to get to know your family again. Or your loves one, ypur rommate etc. Believe we will be OK at the end.

Good adhd Rep, love a grumpy/sunshine pairing. All the tropes, didn’t take itself too seriously and no third act breakup which was good. Very enjoyable, will read more by the author.

The main male character needed some major redemption, not sure I fully forgave him? But people can change, right? A few points in the book that made me cringe, like how she oogled him in the first chapter. Kinda cringe. But overall fun read. Only one bed trope for the win!

I feel almost exactly the same about Applied Electromagnetism as I did about Intermediate Thermodynamics - the plot is a bit rushed, the writing is so-so, but the TENSION between the characters will keep you flipping the pages as fast as you can. I had the same physical reaction to this book as I did to Thermodynamics - my heart squeezed so hard I felt like it was going to burst out of my chest. Nix writes characters and romantic tension so strong that you are literally *aching* for them to be together. I give her props for that!!

The forced proximity set-up in this book was, frankly, ridiculous, but when is a forced proximity set-up not ridiculous? Kind of the point, I think. Imagine yourself on the business trip from hell but the co-worker there with you is super hot and you are both dtf...I mean...lol.

Actually 1.5 stars because I agree with Olivia that these two shouldn't be in a relationship. I dig Nix's writing style and look forward to checking out her other books, but these two turned me off from the jump.
