I don’t yet truly know what to make of it, but it was a touching read and I couldn’t put it down; read it all in one afternoon. Highly recommend if you’re up for a challenge.

This book takes place in a future (past?) where the age of consent is 14 and sex with children (rape, I should say) under that age is commonplace. I have absolutely spent most of this book confused but in the best way possible. It’s such an intense novel with such important topics.
