I really resonated with this story. The journey through grief that the main character experiences is raw and real.

I felt no attachment to the plot or the characters, possibly because I’ve seen a whole bunch of movies with the exact same concept

how she was able to call (but not text) sam is never explained. why doing this meant she couldn’t use her phone to contact anyone else is also never explained.
i wanted this to be more about grief and the desire to have that last conversation with a loved one but  instead i have selfish julie who spends her time moaning about how hard her day was like bish should you not be more idk sad about sam being dead? or about how that has affected the other people in your life? like bruh get some perspective.
