This one was interesting right until the end. Besty is at her best when trying to prove someone didn't do it. She gets the perfect job from Foster Johns whom everyone in Excelsior believes murdered his mistress and her husband. Jealousy, appearances and a little bit of gossip go a long way.

This is a very good read. It's not a typical mystery, but well worth it.

A smidgen of mystery buried in product placement: brand name patterns over and over, brand name floss over and over, brand name yarn over and over, ad after ad.
