1st time listening to this author. Think there is 3 books in this series and this book set the scene well. I wasn’t too fused with the main lead female (Marist).
Royce’s father is a bit of a bastard, (that is the dark side of the book)
Forced marriage, some dark stuff, spice lvl high. Left on a bit of a cliffhanger, so picking there will be more to their storyline in the next book.
Narrator was good, I have listened to her in some other audiobooks.

This is trash. Abso-friggin-loute trash...trash I need to dive further into. Soooooo many wtf moments. The end had me seething which makes me want to read the next one. Girl needs to get her revenge.
Gonna read the trilogy. IF the ending is not satisfying, the 4 stars will be taken down to whatever it deserves to be. Please do not disappoint.

This book was absolutely incredible. One of the best series I’ve read. This dark romance will pull you in and never let go.

WOOOOOOW. Gossip Girl but if Bart Bass ruled everybody’s lives, and it were an adult dark romance. Sooooo spicy and entertaining!

That was interesting, intense, and unexpected. I read this book without knowing what it was about. It’s wild. Typical Nikki Sloane with taboo relationships. I am curious to see what happens next
