Pretty interesting--power in the context of the "Cold War," the U.S. as an empire-state, and critiques of this power in Asian American cultural productions. I understood what Kim was trying to do, but I didn't necessarily buy all of her evidence. There is some important stuff in here that I'll definitely want to use for a paper in the future.
