Probably one of the better romances I have read and liked. Characters were well rounded, but the main character's pov was rather limited for the more complex lives of the Gods we didn't get to fully enjoy.

Some good scenes but cliche. Persephone is unlikable as a stand alone character. Hades is meh. Don’t feel the need to finish the series. Not as cringe as I thought it would be as an audiobook

I LOVE a Greek mythology retelling, especially one of Hades and Persephone. I picked up this book thinking I’d read a few chapters to get started but I could NOT put it down! I fell in love with Hades from the very beginning. I also really enjoyed the modern twist of the Gods and Goddesses being essentially celebrities in the mortal world. I’m excited to continue this series and hoping we get to dive in a bit more with the side characters as well.
