Although the use of emotional words was limited, although the term "flaxen-haired woman" was used about 10,000 times (I gritted my teeth anticipating the next use of the word), I enjoyed the book. I thought there was quite a bit of waste of bullets and gas. I was willing to suspend belief that gas is such a limited resource, along with bullets, not to mention vehicle tires and that gas can go bad pretty quickly.
