A modern day love story.
Abbie and Oz meet as students in London when Abbie fell into Oz's arm - yes literally at a march. There was instant attraction-love at first sight but unfortunately Oz was returning to his native Turkey the following day. They decided to make the most of that day (and night) and agreed to meet up in 10 years time if they were still free.
They did however meet up on several occasions, not always with the success and the path of true romance did not always run smooth.
It is a descriptive book with settings in London, Istanbul. Beirut and Mumbles - a beautiful but little known area in south Wales UK not far from where I live. It's lovely to be able to picture some of the places I've visited.
There's a bit of back and forth story telling which I found slightly confusing but on the whole a romantic gentle read with very likeable characters.
With thanks to NetGalley for the preview read. #ItMustBeLove #NetGalley

A beautifully sweet second-chance romance, with relatable characters, angst and pining. One of my favourite things is how much Oz has been perfect for her the entire time. It was sweet, cosy, and a really quick read. If you’re after something warm and fuzzy, this is for you.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me a free copy of this book for my honest opinion.

The most romantic read of 2022?

It could well be.

I found myself swooning at the building adoration between the main protagonist.

Missed opportunities, timings never quite right. A love that continues to simmer over the years. Honest, raw and oh so complicated.

Two people that belong together.

I truly felt it in my heart.

The saying, absence makes the heart grow fonder feels so appropriate for this tender tale.

Told over past present, the author does a glorious job of painting a picture of intimacy and devotion. Emotions are present always and they never felt forced. I could imagine the fear, the doubt, the quickening of beating hearts.

Abbie and Oz have something unique and they certainly had me believing in fate.

Love at first sight never looked so good.

It Must Be Love is a debut novel that ticks all the boxes. With warmth and passion that builds with each passing moment, this is a love story that knows no bounds.

If you choose to read romance, then this book is a must read.

This is pure love and romance but in a different way. Its your girl meets boy grow apart and then reconnection. It's a curl up beside the fire type of novel. Abbie and Oz I like the connection between them and how things happen over time. This is an enjoyable novel.
