Okay, I liked this more than the first! I found the setting atmospheric and a little creepy and perfect for winter, too!
Audrey Rose's relationship with Thomas deepens further, and I feel like there's a little more substance to their love here. They go through a couple circumstances which make them dig deep into their care for each other - and they discover how they weather disagreements together.
The mystery was spooky and eerie. I didn't mind so much 'back-and-forth' on who the culprit may be. I also enjoyed all the Romanian folklore added in! Sure, vampires and a dead national hero come alive again aren't realistic (Audrey Rose thinks this, too), but it's representative of people's nature to explain away the unexplainable and use superstitious practices for feelings of safety.
This series is fun! It sure is gory - dead bodies, serial killers, and creepy castles with death chambers will do that - but I've been enjoying how easy it is to sink into each continuation of Wadsworth and Cresswell's story! Onto the next!

Sobre en sí, sobre la historia...mmmm, es buena pero no como la primera. Además, me costo mucho leer la primera parte, entiendo porque pero idk no me agrado tanto eso.

Trochę się zastanawiałam jaką ocenę dać tej książce ale już po skończeniu na szczęście wiedziałam. Bardzo podobał mi się zamysł z Rumunia i wampirami ponieważ jestem wielką fanką wampirów ale za to nie podobało mi się rozwiązanie całej tej sprawy. Główna bohaterka w tym tomie była wyjątkowo wkurzająca a w szczególności w pewnym momencie ale na szczęście potem jakoś to się naprawiło. Uważam również że na taką ilość rzeczy zawartych w tej pozycji połowa albo przynajmniej 1/3 nie musiała się znaleźć
