I zoomed through this and it was really helpful in getting caught back up to my reading goal for the year. Every story was so well-written and had me on the edge of my seat. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because there was one story that I didn't really care for. I can't even remember which one is was now, but I remember not really liking it when I was reading through it. However, the rest of the stories were fantastic. I felt like each one played on a different fear, so there's a really good array of different stories. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you're behind on your reading goal because this is such a quick read.

Do not like short stories at all.

I have loved listening to these stories with my youngest sister when we are together, so when I found a book edition, I had to read it. I was not disappointed. Great stories, a few scares, and hard to put down!

This collection surprised me, in the best (and spookiest) of ways. Yes, there were a few stories in here I could have gone without reading. But, the few didn't compare to the many that left me with chills and a bit fearful for the unknown out in this world. Which, believe me, there were many of those in this novel.

A few of those stories that really struck a chord with me, would have to be "Creeping Crimson" which would make you think twice about a motel stop, "Perfume" which makes death look not so final, "A Trick of Perspective" that let's us all know our sight and perception are probably failing us as we speak, and many more that fill these pages.

I came into this book a little doubtful and didn't expect much from it, but I was glad to be mistaken. This was definitely a good read for the month of October. My only thing to you, if your a bit squeamish and on the scaredy cat side, don't read this in the middle of the night. You might just be left wide awake for several hours to follow.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that I would be glued to page after page of this creepily wonderful book of horror! I was seriously surprised by the quality of this collection. I have never visited Creepypasta online, and in fact, I thought it was a kids 'Goosebumps' style site.
If you enjoy short horror fiction, don't miss this one.
