Revisiting my all time favorite series as a child. Rereading them as an adult not only takes just an hour or two, but it is also a nice 'breather' from your day.

I don't like how George was treated here, but regardless it's a good adventure.

This book has not aged well.  The racism and misogyny was even worse than I remembered from childhood. It was a fun read for the nostalgia factor, but I definitely wouldn't be recommending these books to kids. The plot was suprisingly slow to develop for a childrens book.
