This was a fun, fast read that I found to be enjoyable and funny. I laughed out loud sometimes. I am a big fan of this author's picture books, The Library Lion and Big Mean Mike.

Honestly, I don't get the low rationg on this book! It's a fun romp with demons and high school adventures in one book, and I had a great time reading it!

I felt like this whole book was an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Not sure if I would promote this to a teen, I think adults would like it better. Cyn was super funny and I was laughing through the beginning of the story, not so much throughout the rest of the story. It got very serious toward the middle and all the way toward the end.

I’m not sure if the writing quality deserves five stars. But Holy vow!! This was the most fun I’ve had in forever. I mean evil demonic librarians and teenage, roach girls. How do you get better than that?!!!
