Just so unnecessarily weird. Very slow going and lacking in plot then after the big reveal the main character doesn't seem to act consistently with her values at all leaving the whole thing feeling unresolved and ruptured.

This novel took a darker turn than I expected and had a surprising insight into class politics. The story lost me a little bit toward the end, but the way it’s ultimately resolved pulled me back in and had me questioning everything I’d read.
