Yes the first vision of mommy dearest! Still annoyed with all the "I'm not like other girls" from Anita but what can you do...I'm really in it for all the side characters 😅

This book is very readable. But so much of it is weird metaphysical stuff that it has elements of the bew weird (except not. More old weird lol) like you just have to go with it.

Loved getting so much Jean-Claude and Asher. Asher can be unlikable sometimes but hes also not like. . .righteous. hes just sensitive and i feel for him. . I wish the background mystery that isnt vampire politics would pick up somewhere but i dont think it will.
